EEC summarized its 2024 outcomes in natural monopolies

The 2024 draft report on outcomes in natural monopolies was approved at the March 6 meeting of the specialized Committee chaired by Arzybek Kozhoshev, Minister in charge of Energy and Infrastructure of the Eurasian Economic Commission.

The report contains information on draft regulatory legal acts in the field of natural monopolies developed by the EAEU countries, as well as the results of monitoring amendments and additions made to the regulatory framework of the Union States for compliance with the principles and rules established by the EAEU Treaty.

The Commission prepares the document on an annual basis jointly with the authorized authorities of the Union States that regulate the activities of natural monopoly entities. The report will be submitted to the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council for consideration in May this year.

The report is prepared in accordance with Paragraph 20 Subparagraph 5 of the Protocol on Common Regulation Principles and Rules for Activities of Natural Monopoly Entities (Annex No. 20 to the Treaty on the Eurasian Economic Union).
