22 Dec 2020 EAEU harmonized approach to manufacturing pharmaceutical substances On December 22, the EEC Board approved guidelines for developing and manufacturing active pharmaceutical substances. The document contains guidelines for planning the process of manufacturing active pharmaceutical substances and the scope of their development. This will enable identifying critical production stages and improving the quality of pharmaceutical substances.

21 Dec 2020 EEC and EDB identified key directions of cooperation in manufacturing industry Cooperation between the EEC and the EDB in the industrial sector was discussed at a meeting at the EEC’s headquarters by Artak Kamalyan, Member of the Board – Minister in charge of Industry and Agriculture of the Eurasian Economic Commission, and Nikolay Podguzov, Chairman of the Board of the Eurasian Development Bank. In particular, they have considered projects in the field of import substitution, financing the Eurasian interstate programs and applying measures to support manufacturing facilities in the Eurasian Economic Union.

19 Dec 2020 Belarusian President Alexander Grigoryevich Lukashenko awarded Mikhail Vladimirovich Myasnikovich with Order of Fatherland, 2nd class Mikhail Myasnikovich, Chairman of the Eurasian Economic Commission, was awarded the Order of Fatherland, 2nd class for long strong performance in governing bodies, great personal contribution to developing integration processes in the Eurasian space as well as consistent upholding of interests of Belarus and implementing national policy.

18 Dec 2020 EEC and EAEU countries’ business discussed prospects for concluding free trade agreement with Mongolia "Accelerating negotiation processes with third countries was one of the priority tasks of the Trade Unit of the Eurasian Economic Commission in 2020. Efforts were taken on several country tracks, including with Mongolia which is traditionally a close partner of the EAEU," Andrey Slepnev, Member of the Board – Minister in charge of Trade of the Eurasian Economic Commission, noted at the 28th meeting of the Business Dialogue with representatives of the business community of the Eurasian Economic Union countries.

17 Dec 2020 EAEU to draft new standards The Eurasian Economic Commission’s Board has considered a number of issues in the field of technical regulation. In particular, the program for elaborating interstate standards for the Technical Regulation "Safety requirements for food additives, flavorings and technological aids" was approved.
