21 Oct 2016 The EEC is updating the lists of standards and programs for the development of interstate standards for the Eurasian Union technical regulations On October 20, the Advisory Committee on Technical Regulation, Sanitary, Veterinary and Phytosanitary Measures under the Board of the EEC reviewed a wide range of issues in this sphere. The meeting was chaired by the Director of the Technical Regulation and Accreditation Department of the Eurasian Economic Commission Arman Shakkaliev.

21 Oct 2016 Industrial Policy Department of the EEC is developing cooperation with the International Organization of Motor Vehicle Manufacturers On October 20, Moscow hosted a meeting of the representatives of the Industrial Policy Department of the Eurasian Economic Commission where attendees discussed prospects for the development of the automobile industry in the Eurasian Economic Union with the participants of the round table "The global automobile industry: the situation and trends in Russia/CIS region and worldwide", which took place within the framework of the previous session of the General Assembly of the International Organization of Motor Vehicle Manufacturers (OICA).

20 Oct 2016 The Argentine delegation stated that it supported the cooperation between the EEC and MERCOSUR On October 19, a meeting was held at the Eurasian Economic Commission with the Argentine delegation headed by Minister of Agriculture of the Argentine Republic Ricardo Buryaile, where the Director of the Integration Development Department of the EEC Sergey Shukhno spoke about the development of cooperation with the countries and integration associations in Latin America (Chile, Peru, the Andean Community, and the Pacific Alliance) and confirmed the Commission’s interest in establishing contacts with MERCOSUR.
