15 Apr 2016 The Intergovernmental Council approved the Provision on the formation and functioning of Eurasian technology platforms and the concept of creating a Eurasian Machine Tool Engineering Centre. On April 13, there was a session of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council in Gorki, Moscow Region. The heads of Government of the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union approved the Concept of creating a Eurasian Machine Tool Engineering Centre. The concept was developed by the industrial section of the Commission, in conjunction with the EAEU Member States in accordance with the Main Directions of Industrial Cooperation within the Union. This strategic document defines the Machine Tool Centre as one of the tools of industrial cooperation between the Parties.

15 Apr 2016 The session of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council addressed a number of important issues aimed at further deepening of the integration. On April 13, there was a session of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council in Gorki, Moscow Region. The summit was attended by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia, Hovik Abrahamyan, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Belarus, Andrey Kobyakov, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Karim Massimov, the Prime Minister of the Government of the Russian Federation, Dmitry Medvedev, the Vice Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic, Oleg Pankratov, and the Chairman of the Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission, Tigran Sargsyan.

15 Apr 2016 EEC Minister Tatyana Valovaya spoke about the prospective projects in the EAEU On 14 April, Moscow hosted the International Conference “InvestRos” where Member of the Board - Minister in charge of Integration Development and Macroeconomics of the Eurasian Economic Commission, Tatyana Valovaya, held a session entitled "Investment in the Eurasian Economic Union" and reported on the directions of development of the Eurasian integration in the short term.

15 Apr 2016 Draft amendments to the Lists of Standards to the EAEU Technical Regulations "Road Safety " have been submitted for public discussion The Eurasian Economic Commission informs of the commencement of public discussion of the draft amendments to the List of Standards, the voluntary observance of which ensures compliance with the EAEU Technical Regulations " Road Safety" as well as with the List of Standards outlining the research (testing) and measurement rules and techniques (including the rules for sample selection), required for the application and implementation of provisions of the said Technical Regulations and evaluation of compliance of the subjects of technical regulation.

At the plenary meeting "Choosing Russia. New Challenges" held on April 14 in Moscow as part of the InvestRos 2016 International Conference dedicated to the growth of investments in Russia, Chairman of the Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission Tigran Sargsyan stated that, to improve the investment attractiveness of the EAEU countries, the Commission should, working closely with the member states, boost the prestige of the new supranational body— the EEC and EAEU.

14 Apr 2016 Chairman of the EEC Board, Tigran Sargsyan, discussed development of cooperation between the EAEU and MERCOSUR with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Argentina Susana Malcorra On April 12, the Eurasian Economic Commission held a working meeting between the Chairman of the Eurasian Economic Commission Tigran Sargsyan and the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Worship of the Argentine Republic, Susana Malcorra.

13 Apr 2016 The EEC approved the possibility of applying the procedure of deferred determination of the customs value of goods, the price of which depends on the stock exchange quotation On April 12, the participants of the regular session of the Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission chaired by the Chairman of the Board of the Commission, Tigran Sargsyan, considered issues in the sphere of customs cooperation, economics and financial policy, technical regulation, competition and antitrust regulation.

13 Apr 2016 The EEC takes into account the proposals of the EAEU business community when making decisions. On April 12, there was a session of the Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission where attendees approved a draft disposition concerning the EEC annual report on monitoring the regulatory impact assessment (RIA) of the draft decisions of the Commission in 2015. The report will be reviewed by the EEC Council, then by the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council.
