This September, the expert group permanently operating in the Eurasian Economic Commission agreed to unify various types of transit declaration structures into a single transit declaration structure. Such a unification will simplify the creation and processing of electronic transit declarations, reduce the time and financial costs of declaring for participants in foreign economic activity and customs authorities.
Electronic customs documents are widely used in the information interaction between business and customs authorities.
It is planned to develop and approve a new structure of the electronic transit declaration in March 2023.
For reference
To fulfill the disposition of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council on implementing the Strategic Directions for Developing the Eurasian Economic Integration until 2025, the EEC Customs Infrastructure Department is constantly working to unify the electronic document flow between customs authorities and participants in foreign economic activity.
