Fourth International Anticounterfeiting Forum 2016

Page ContentFrom November 22 to 24, the Eurasian Economic Commission and the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, with the support of the Government of the Republic of Armenia, will hold the Fourth International Anticounterfeiting Forum 2016 in Yerevan.   It is dedicated to the problems of protecting intellectual property rights, and the trafficking in industrial products. The Anticounterfeiting Forum is a regular central discussion platform in the Eurasian Economic Union. The representatives of the Member States, heads of major international companies and organisations, and leading international experts in the field will be able to discuss the problems of protecting civilized markets from the illegal trafficking in industrial products, including counterfeit and adulterated goods, as well as the enforcement of intellectual property rights. The main objectives of the Forum are the organisation of constructive dialogue and development of common solutions by the representatives of Member States, the business community, science and the public with a view to creating a civilized market of goods and services. The Forum will address issues related to customs, technical regulation and certification, expanding human capacity, the harmonisation of the legislation of the Member States in the field of illegal trafficking in industrial products, the protection of rights to the results of intellectual activity, and the consumer market. Furthermore, a youth section will be held. Representatives of interested departments, public associations and enterprises, as well as experts in specialized fields have been invited to participate in the Forum.
