The prospects of organizing systematic interaction of young civil servants of the Eurasian Economic Union countries were discussed at the panel session titled "Strategy for the Young: Eurasia Unites" by the participants of the Forum of Young Civil Servants of the EAEU, which was held in Krasnoyarsk (Russian Federation).
The event was organized by the Youth Government of Understudies of the Krasnoyarsk Territory with the support of the Youth Council of the Eurasian Economic Commission, Rosmolodezh, the Association of Youth Governments of the Russian Federation and a number of other state and public structures. The session was moderated by the Chairman of the Council of Young Diplomats of the Russian Foreign Ministry Konstantin Kolpakov, who read the welcoming speech of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Sergey Lavrov. The EEC Youth Council was represented by Deputy Chairman Ilya Kuzmichev.
"EAEU gives young people a lot of new opportunities, opening up the space within the Union and the markets of third countries. The participation of young civil servants in integration processes is now even more relevant than ever," Ilya Kuzmichev noted. He stressed that the track on interaction of young civil servants of the Union countries first appeared in the program of the 1st CIS and EAEU Youth Forum in Cholpon-Ata (Kyrgyz Republic) in August this year.
Representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry in Krasnoyarsk Artem Zakharov, Head of the Department of International Youth Cooperation and Tourism of the Ministry of Higher Education and Science of Russia Artem Fomin, Director of the Youth Research Center (Kazakhstan) Aziz Iskakov, and Deputy Chairman of the Youth Congress of Kyrgyzstan, Chairman of the United Youth Organization of Kyrgyzstan Daniel Chechenbekov were also speakers at the session.
A number of thematic discussions took place within the framework of the business program of the Forum. During the session titled "Young civil servants. Starting point and training", the issues of raising awareness of young civil servants about the processes of Eurasian economic integration, the search for common approaches in the field of advanced training and internships were discussed. The session "Politics of the New Time" was devoted to the international activities of the EAEU in the context of the Greater Eurasian Partnership Initiative. The sessions were moderated by Valery Smirnov, Deputy Director of the Institute of Law and National Security of RANEPA.
In addition, during the session titled "Youth's View on the EAEU development", the young leaders of the Union shared success stories of their youth associations, highlighted current activities and plans in the context of the implementation of the youth agenda of the Union. Ilya Kuzmichev from the Youth Council of the EEC was the speaker of these discussions.
Under the guidance of experts, practice-oriented work was carried out in the format of brainstorming aimed at developing joint projects by young civil servants of the EAEU countries. In particular, the young leaders proposed to create a stable communication between the professional youth of the Union states, to develop joint programs of additional professional education for civil servants on the basis of specialized "presidential-like" arrangements, as well as to actively exchange best practices during the Union forum platforms. Creation of a chatbot in social networks with all public expert events on the subject of the EAEU was among the proposals.
