The standards for the content of glycidyl fatty acid ethers can be included in several technical regulations of the EAEU that establish food safety requirements
To enhance consumer protection, the authorized bodies of the Eurasian Economic Union expressed general support for the inclusion of standards for the content of glycidyl fatty acid esters on the "package principle" in several technical regulations of the Union that establish food safety requirements. In particular, the Member States are considering the issue of including these requirements into the amendments to the technical regulations of the Union "On Food Safety" and "On the Safety of Certain Types of Specialized Food Products, Including Dietary Medical and Dietary Preventive Nutrition" that are publicly discussed on the Union's portal.

EEC develops the international agenda together with business
On October 23, a meeting under the chairmanship of Sergei Glazyev, Minister in charge of Integration and Macroeconomics, was held at the headquarters of the Eurasian Economic Commission. Its participants discussed the issues of developing cooperation of the Eurasian Economic Union with partners in the regions of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS), the European Union (EU), the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN), the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO), the African Union and Latin America.

EEC develops EAEU-wide cooperation in industrial construction
International cooperation within the Eurasian Economic Union is one of the most promising areas in the field of industrial construction both for the internal market and foreign outlet. This was stated by Tigran Harutyunyan, Deputy Director of the EEC Industrial Policy Department, speaking at the panel discussion "Industrial construction as a driver for economic growth".

Andrey Slepnev invited to intensify dialogue with EU on industry-related and trade and economic agenda
Andrey Slepnev, Member of the Board - EEC Minister in charge of Trade, invited to intensify the dialogue between the Eurasian Economic Commission and the European Commission at the expert level for a substantive discussion of technical and customs regulation, infrastructure coupling and the "green" agenda, especially in light of the EU carbon regulation and digital solutions.

EAEU plans to unify requirements for agricultural products circulation and develop scientific and innovative cooperation
Issues of unifying livestock and seed products circulation, priorities for joint research and development (R&D) in the Eurasian Economic Union as well as new directions for developing international cooperation were discussed by participants of the Advisory Committee on Agriculture. The meeting chaired by Artak Kamalyan, Minister in charge of Industry and Agriculture of the Eurasian Economic Commission, was held on October 21.

EEC discussed implementing transport policy in EAEU
Issues of implementing the Main Directions and Stages of the Coordinated (Agreed) Transport Policy of the Eurasian Economic Union Member States and the possibility of resuming passenger service by various modes of transport in the EAEU were discussed by attendees of the 18th meeting of the Advisory Committee on Transport and Infrastructure of the Eurasian Economic Commission held on October 21 via videoconferencing.

EAEU creates conditions for electronic trading of warehouse certificates for agricultural products
On October 20, the Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission approved an Agreement on the Rules of Release (Issue), Circulation and Redemption Within the Eurasian Economic Union of Warehouse Certificates for Agricultural Products. The document will be sent to the EAEU countries for intrastate approval.
