The Eurasian Economic Commission's delegation headed by Nikolay Rogozhnik, Deputy Director of the Industrial Policy Department, took part in the International Technology and Infrastructure Exhibition and Conference "Smart Cities India Expo" in New Delhi (Republic of India).
"India is one of the Eurasian Economic Union's strategic partners in South Asia. We have the potential to develop industrial cooperation in such sectors as electric vehicle industry, renewable energy, electronics manufacturing industry, metal industry, pharmaceuticals, and chemical industry," Nikolay Rogozhnik noted.
The EEC representatives informed on the key principles of the Eurasian integration in industries, and discussed with the event attendees the experience and achievements in developing the manufacture of electric motor vehicles, their components and charging infrastructure.
The Commission's representatives also considered relevant matters of industrial cooperation with representatives of public authorities and the business community of the Republic of India.
The Indian side expressed interest in developing a dialogue with the EEC in the industrial sector, including issues of developing cooperation in key sectors. Besides, representatives of the Indian business and South Asian enterprises are invited to participate in forum events held in the EAEU.
