Making amendments to a declaration for goods before and after their release was considered at a regular meeting of the working group on customs declaring procedures under the specialized Advisory Committee of the Eurasian Economic Commission.
In particular, the meeting touched upon such areas as reducing the number of documents required when foreign trade participants initiate changes to their declarations, recognizing the priority of electronic declaration adjustment and specifying the cases for using paper documents, as well as the possibility of sending the decision of the customs authority in electronic form.
The establishment of a working group on customs declaring procedures under the Advisory Committee on Customs Regulation was approved at the 54th meeting of the EEC Advisory Committee on Customs Regulation.
