Comment by Head of the Commission’s Control Headquarters for Eurasian Economic Forum-2022

The Eurasian Economic Forum will be held on the eve of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council’s meeting on May 26-27 in Bishkek. This was announced by Daniyar Turusbekov, Head of the Commission’s Control Headquarters for the Forum and Director of the Organizational Support and Protocol Department.

"All countries have confirmed the timing and venue for the Supreme Council’s meeting. Nowadays, both the Kyrgyz Republic and the Commission actively address the event preparation issues. A meeting of the Organizing Committee under the leadership of Arzybek Orozbekovich Kozhoshev, First Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic, is scheduled to be held on April 8, at which the Forum’s concept is planned to be approved", Daniyar Turusbekov stressed.
He has noted that a plenary session involving the Heads of the EAEU States as well as 6 panel sessions and exhibitions of the EAEU agro-industrial goods are planned as part of the Forum.

The Eurasian Economic Forum is an annual business event of the Eurasian Economic Union in the economic sphere, held alternately in the EAEU State chairing the Union's governing bodies – the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council, the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council and the EEC Council. The Forum is held in accordance with SEEC Decision No. 16 dated October 1, 2019. The event is focused on involving heads of large, small and medium-sized businesses of the Member States and third countries, top public officials of the Member States, heads and representatives of the EAEU countries’ public authorities as well as heads and cabinet officers of third countries, representatives of international, scientific and educational organizations interested in developing interaction within the Union. The Eurasian Economic Forum's objectives are to further develop economic cooperation between the Member States, to form cooperative ties between the Member States' economic entities, to achieve a synergistic effect from unifying investment and innovation potentials of the Member States and to develop their export potential.
