Signing the Memorandum of Cooperation between these companies coordinated by the Eurasian Economic Commission’s Industrial Unit before laid the groundwork for establishing a new significant industry association in the EAEU.
The "Progress" plans to study market conditions, organize seminars, conferences, and put forward proposals to improve the national and supranational legislative framework.
"Establishing this association is certainly a landmark event, which is the practical result of the Commission's systematic on developing industrial cooperation between enterprises of the Eurasian Economic Union States", noted Artak Kamalyan, EEC Minister in charge of Industry and Agriculture.Besides, as part of implementing the Memorandum signed last year by the heads of enterprises of Belarus and Russia, it is planned to elaborate and implement promising projects in the manufacture of agricultural machinery and equipment as well as the forestry and municipal industries, to deepen intersectoral and interstate cooperation as well as to promote products to third markets. The document notes that other market participants may accede to the Memorandum as well.
