11 Dec 2020 EEC Council’s decision on approving Rules for determining country of origin of goods for public procurement purposes entered into force On December 11, the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council vested the Eurasian Economic Commission's Council with powers to approve the Rules for determining the country of origin of certain goods for public procurement purposes. The relevant decision related to making amendments to the Rules of Procedure of the Eurasian Economic Commission was adopted at the SEEC meeting.

The event was also attended by members of the EEC Board and deputies of the Jogorku Kenesh Parliament of the Kyrgyz Republic.

08 Dec 2020 List of research rules for studying efficiency of disinfectants in EAEU approved On December 8, the Eurasian Economic Commission’s Board amended the Uniform Sanitary Epidemiological and Hygienic Requirements for the Goods Subject to Sanitary and Epidemiological Supervision. The document has been supplemented with a list of research rules for studying the efficiency of disinfectants.

08 Dec 2020 Lists of standards to Union’s Technical Regulation for Tobacco Products updated On December 8, the Eurasian Economic Commission’s Board amended the list of standards containing rules and research methods required for applying and implementing the requirements of "Technical Regulation for Tobacco Products "(TR CU 035/2014) and assessing conformity of technical regulation subjects.

08 Dec 2020 Procedures for importing certain goods to Belarus simplified On December 8, the Eurasian Economic Commission’s Board adopted a decision to simplify the procedure for importing regulated goods into the territory of the Republic of Belarus by reducing the list of veterinary measures for certain types of such goods. These amendments were made by the EEC Board to the Uniform Veterinary (Veterinary and Sanitary) Requirements for Products subject to Veterinary Control (Supervision).
