Mikhail Myasnikovich and Sergey Lavrov discussed issues of EAEU international activity
On October 5, Mikhail Myasnikovich, Chairman of the Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission, and Sergey Lavrov, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, discussed issues of the Eurasian Economic Union’s international activity in the light of Russia's upcoming chairmanship in the EAEU governing bodies next year.
The meeting discussed interaction between the Union and third countries and international associations, in particular, touched on the prospects of cooperation between the EAEU and the CIS countries, Asia, the Middle East, Africa and Latin America.
The sides noted the efficiency of joint work on the EAEU positioning as one of the centers of the integration contour of the Greater Eurasian Partnership in forming multipolar world.
Special attention was paid to the EAEU information positioning on the global stage, as well as issues of working with young people.
Mikhail Myasnikovich and Sergey Lavrov agreed to maintain further working contacts on the integration agenda.
