23 Aug 2016 Transport control across the entire perimeter of the EAEU customs border to be unified On August 22, the Advisory Committee on the Interaction of Regulatory Bodies on the Customs Border of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) met in Moscow and conceptually approved instructions for officials of the customs authorities of the countries of the Eurasian "five" that conduct transport control at road (mixed) check points. The Chairman of the Advisory Committee on Customs Cooperation, Minister in charge of Customs of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) Mukay Kadyrkulov announced that the “instructions should ensure the uniform implementation of transport control across the entire border of the Customs Union".

Thanks to the document customs clearance at the external border of the Union will be standardized, and conditions for goods movement will be significantly simplified.
