12 Jul 2017 The EEC presented a report on achievement of the Sustainable Development goals in the EAEU region The report on achievement of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) was made by the Chairman of the Council of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC), the Vice Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic, Oleg Pankratov, at the headquarters of the United Nations (UN). The EAEU became the first regional integration association, which prepared a report for public discussion at the high-level Policy Forum on Sustainable Development of the Union Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC), the key event on monitoring the UN agenda for sustainable development up to 2030.

11 Jul 2017 Manufacturers of equipment for children's playgrounds will get a transitional period At the session of the Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) held on July 11, the draft Strategy for the development of the integrated information system of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) up to 2025 was approved. A number of decisions in respect of technical regulation and customs administration were also taken. In particular, the participants agreed transitional provisions of the technical regulations “On safety of equipment for children's playgrounds” and amended the decision of the Commission of the Customs Union that simplifies the export of Kazakh oil extracted at the Karachaganak field and exported to third countries through the Russian territory. The Members of the Board discussed the review of the forms and methods of state support to agriculture applied in the EAEU countries as part of an agreed (coordinated) agroindustrial policy.
