Commission's powers to prevent competition violations in transboundary markets assessed
The Eurasian Economic Commission’s Council approved at the meeting held on November 23 a Report drafted by the EEC Antitrust Unit on applying Criteria for classifying the commodity market as transboundary one.

EEC Council approved draft Strategy-2025 to be submitted to Heads of EAEU States
The Eurasian Economic Commission’s Council approved draft decision of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council "On Strategic Directions for Developing the Eurasian Economic Integration until 2025" at the meeting held on November 23.

Transport policy implementation to positively affect EAEU integration
On November 19, the Council of Heads of the relevant ministries of the Union States discussed the implementation of the Main Directions and stages of implementing the coordinated (agreed) transport policy of the Eurasian "five" countries. The summit was held via videoconferencing as part of the Transport Week 2020 International Forum.

Growth in container traffic despite COVID-19 pandemic
Owing to transit services, the China — Europe — China route has experienced an over 60% growth in container traffic during the third quarter of this year. This was reported by Emil Kaikiev, Member of the Board – Minister in charge of Energy and Infrastructure of the Eurasian Economic Commission, at the Digital Transport Corridors plenary discussion as part of Transport Week 2020.

Gegham Vardanyan, Member of the Board – Minister in charge of Internal Markets, Informatization, Information and Communication Technologies of the Eurasian Economic Commission, conveyed this idea at the Digital Transport Corridors plenary discussion of the 14th International Forum as part of Transport Week 2020 in Moscow. The event was organized by the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation.

Agreement on information exchange with the PRC to come into force

On introducing marking of certain commodity groups by means of identification
The Eurasian Economic Commission draws attention to the fact that in accordance with decisions of the EEC Council Nos. 127, 128, 129 and 130 dated November 18, 2019, the EAEU States may introduce marking for perfumes and eau de toilette; photo cameras (except for film cameras), speedlights and flashbulbs, as well as individual products of light industry as soon as they are ready.
