Cooperation between EAEU countries' oil-and-gas machine building enterprises discussed at Eurasian Oil and Gas Forum

As part of the international exhibition Equipment and Technologies for the Oil and Gas Industries (Neftegaz 2024), the Eurasian Oil and Gas Forum was held on April 16, at which the Industrial Policy Department of the Eurasian Economic Commission, together with the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, held a round table Cooperation of Oil-And-Gas Machine Building Enterprises in the Member States of the Eurasian Economic Union.

Representatives of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation, the Institute of Oil and Gas Technology Initiatives, the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation and the sectoral business community of the EAEU countries took part in the round table as speakers.

Georgy Arzumanyan, Deputy Director of the EEC Industrial Policy Department, spoke about the Commission’s tools aimed at promoting cooperation, including a new instrument for financing industrial cooperation projects in the EAEU.

Dmitry Kurochkin, Vice-President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation, reported on the participation of the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry in the development of industrial cooperation in the Union, a representative of the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Armenia told about the production and technological potential of Armenian oil-and-gas machine building enterprises. Representatives of the sectoral business community of the EAEU countries raised issues concerning the current status of the industry and its needs.

Following the round table, the attendees agreed to intensify cooperation between oil-and-gas machine building enterprises within the Union using the Commission's tools.

The Neftegaz exhibition is organized by Expocenter JSC with the support of the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, under the auspices of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation.
