EEC Council extended decisions to ensure EAEU stable manufacture of wheeled vehicles

The Eurasian Economic Commission’s Council extended the terms for the decisions adopted earlier in April and May of this year aimed at ensuring stable manufacture of wheeled vehicles, agricultural and forestry tractors under the restrictive measures imposed by third countries.

The possibility to manufacture vehicles in the EAEU territory in accordance with regulatory legal acts of the Governments of the Union countries has been extended until February 1, 2024.

The possibility for manufacturers of the Republic of Belarus not to equip certain categories of vehicles with electronic stability control systems followed by registration of device type approvals for such vehicles and to sell such vehicles has been extended until December 31, 2023.

 The deadline for transiting to the manufacture of the 3rd emission class tractors has been extended until January 1, 2024.

 The possibility for the EAEU States’ manufacturers to manufacture tractors with a low emission class (0, 1, 2) has been extended until January 31, 2024.

The validity of conformity certificates for tractors with a low emission class has been extended until January 31, 2024, and the possibility of putting into circulation and selling such tractors has been extended until May 31, 2024.
