01 Jan 1970 EEC interested in broadly involving young specialists in integration agenda "By analogy with creating Eurasian enterprises, it is necessary to elaborate a concept for creating youth joint ventures, educational and research centers." This was proposed by Mikhail Myasnikovich, Chairman of the Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission, at the opening of the 2nd EAEU and CIS Youth Forum in Sochi (Russian Federation). According to the Head of the EEC Board, it is right now that the Eurasian Economic Union could create an information database on preferences granted to young entrepreneurs in each Member State and post it on the Eurasian Economic Commission's website. As part of the Forum, Mikhail Myasnikovich also proposed to conceptualize a Eurasian system for rendering organizational and legal support to young entrepreneurs implementing innovative technologies. The Chairman of the EEC Board noted the need to train qualified specialists for the real economy. "From my personal perspective, it is the consumers –relevant ministries and large enterprises – that should set out vocational programs and train specialists," stressed Mikhail Myasnikovich. "I believe that such approach could be cross-cutting throughout our Union thereby providing young people with equal access to professional training and strengthening the workforce capacity of our manufacturing industry." The Head of the EEC Board was also confident in the need to promote youth exchanges and to familiarize the young generation with cultures of the Eurasian countries and the EAEU economy.  "In the EAEU countries, youth organizations together with universities implement individual projects that encompass such topics as volunteering, student sports, young scientists, entrepreneurship, tourism," emphasized Mikhail Myasnikovich. "But those projects are scattered, they should be scaled up in the EAEU space."     For reference The 2nd CIS and EAEU Youth Forum will be held in Sochi on June 7-9. The participants will be 150 young people from eight countries: Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and Cuba. The key Forum event will be its plenary session. Strategic discussions will come up with initiatives related to youth entrepreneurship and its support from public authorities. Moreover, the Forum program involves a business breakfast to be attended by young people and members of the Council of Heads of CIS and EAEU Governments.
