Owing to the high interest of the business community and requests for additional time to prepare documents, the Eurasian Economic Commission and the Agency for Strategic Initiatives announce that the deadline for submitting applications for "Green Eurasia" Second International Climate Competition has been extended up to and including April 30, 2024.
It bears reminding that participation in the competition is free of charge, and the call for applications started on February 12. Each organization can apply for no more than three projects in different categories, including:
- State climate strategies and practices;
- Climate finance;
- Low-carbon energy;
- Green transportation;
- Sustainable land use, forestry and water management;
- Low-carbon industry;
- Green construction;
- Managing climate active substances;
- Low-carbon closed-loop economy;
- Monitoring and forecasting climate change;
- Climate resilient infrastructure;
- Climate resilient cities;
- Agriculture and forestry amid new climate realities;
- Water resources amid new climate realities;
- Climate enlightenment and education.
Commercial companies, state institutions, government authorities, non-profit organizations and associations, as well as individuals are eligible to participate in the competition by filling out an application form.
