EAEU agricultural producer prices increased by 6.9% in January 2024 on a yearly basis

The agricultural producer price index in the Eurasian Economic Union amounted to 106.9% in January 2024 compared to January 2023.

As compared to December 2023, prices decreased by 0.3%, while producer prices for crop products increased by 1.7%, and prices for livestock products decreased by 1.3%. 

A decrease in agricultural producer prices was registered in Armenia (by 0.7%) and Russia (by 0.6%). Along with that, an increase in prices was registered in Kyrgyzstan (by 1.6%) and Belarus (by 1.4%), while prices in Kazakhstan increased insignificantly (by 0.2%).
