15 Mar 2021 Mikhail Myasnikovich held meeting with Sardor Umurzakov, Deputy Prime Minister of Uzbekistan Issues of further cooperation between the Eurasian Economic Commission and the Republic of Uzbekistan were discussed by Mikhail Myasnikovich, Chairman of the EEC Board, and Sardor Umurzakov, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan – Minister of Investments and Foreign Trade, who visited the Commission during his working visit to the Russian Federation. The meeting was held on March 15 at the EEC’s headquarters.

12 Mar 2021 Customs services of EAEU countries and Vietnam deepen interaction on electronic information exchange Issues of phased implementation of electronic exchange of customs information between the customs authorities of the Eurasian Economic Union countries and Vietnam were discussed at a consultation involving the sides’ authorized representatives chaired by Oleg Pankratov, Member of the Board – EEC Minister in charge of Customs Cooperation. The case touched on arrangements for signing a document implying amendments to the Protocol on exchange of information on goods being moved within trade turnover between the Union States and Vietnam.

03 Mar 2021 EAEU develops innovations in oil and fat industry Representatives of the Eurasian Economic Commission headed by Armen Harutyunyan, Director of the EEC Agricultural Policy Department, got acquainted with research and innovation projects being implemented in Belgorod Region by EFKO Group, one of the largest food manufacturers in Russia. To this end, the EEC delegation visited the Alekseyevsk branch of EFKO JSC, the Center for Applied Research, the Innovation Center and the Biryuch Scientific and Educational Center. Of particular interest was a new development by EFKO technologists - vegetable alternatives to meat, which are being sold on the market under the "Hi!" (Healthy Innovation) brand. Introducing and popularizing this technology will have a positive impact on human health and environment, given the new world approaches to organic agriculture.

03 Mar 2021 Inflation in Kyrgyzstan exceeded EAEU target as of year-end 2020 The inflation target in the Eurasian Economic Union countries amounted to 8.7% as of year-end 2020 and increased by 3% compared to 2019. Along with that, the inflation in Kyrgyzstan exceeded the EAEU target and therefore the Eurasian Economic Commission will elaborate economic recommendations for Kyrgyzstan in 2021. This is stated in the analytical materials drafted by the Macroeconomic Policy Department of the Eurasian Economic Commission.
