Andrey Slepnev: "The main question for the Greater Eurasia is whether we can unite to efficiently pass the transformation in the economy"
On December 4, the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) and the Eurasian Development Bank (EDB) held a joint panel on the topic "Towards Greater Eurasia through coupling the States, Businesses and People" within the First Eurasian Congress. The discussion was moderated by Andrey Slepnev, Member of the Board – EEC Minister on charge of Trade, who addressed the session attendees with openings remarks.

Ethiopia shows interest in cooperation with EAEU
Prospects for cooperation between the Eurasian Economic Union countries and the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia were discussed by representatives of the business and expert communities at the first Ethiopian-Eurasian Business Forum held on December 1 in an online format. The Eurasian Economic Commission was represented at the Forum by Goar Barseghyan, Director of Integration Development Department.

Manufacturers of fermented milk drinks from Russia and Belarus agreed to reconcile disputed matter based on EEC proposal
On December 1, the Department for Antitrust Regulation of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) involving representatives of the competition agencies of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) countries sent a proposal to eliminate violations of the general rules of competition in the transboundary market of fermented milk drinks.

Implementing major transboundary projects to have stimulating effect on economic development of Greater Eurasia countries
Askar Kishkembayev, Head of the Secretariat of the EEC Minister in charge of Economy and Financial Policy, has informed about the role of regional integration in light of the global crisis and prospects for transboundary cooperation at the 7th Moscow International Financial and Economic Forum "Greater Eurasia in Search of New Formats and Areas of Cooperation". The Forum is organized by the Financial and Business Association of Euro-Asian Cooperation supported by the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs and the Eurasian Economic Commission.

EEC Board extended anti-dumping measure for kitchen appliances and cutlery from PRC for 5 years
The Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) has extended the anti-dumping measure on Chinese kitchen appliances and cutlery made of corrosion-resistant steel until 2025. This refers, in particular, to table knives, spoons, forks, ladles, skimmers, cake servers, knives for fish and butter, sugar tongs as well as sets of these products.
