18 Apr 2017 Accession of Kyrgyzstan to the EAEU positively affected the growth of the national economy The participants of the session of the Inter-parliamentary Commission for cooperation between the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation and Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic, with the participation of representatives of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC), held in Moscow, noted the positive impact of the Eurasian integration on the economy of Kyrgyzstan.

17 Apr 2017 The EEC and the General Confederation of Trade Unions develop interaction in the sphere of protection of rights and interests of employees within the EAEU “The interaction of the Commission with the General Confederation of Trade Unions is aimed at enhancing the effectiveness of the implementation of the EEC tasks in the social and labor sphere,” said the head of the Secretariat of the EEC Member of the Board - Minister in charge of Economics and Financial Policy of the EEC Askar Kishkembaev in his speech. He said this at the ceremonial meeting of the Council of the General Confederation of Trade Unions (GCTU) dedicated to the 25-th anniversary of the foundation of the organization. The event was also attended by the Director of the Labor Migration and Social Protection Department of the EEC Paiza Suyumbaeva.

14 Apr 2017 The Supreme Eurasian Economic Council (SEEC) conferred new powers in customs regulation to the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) On April 14, in Bishkek (Kyrgyzstan) SEEC held a session with participation of the leadership of the EAEU member-countries. The session was attended by Igor Dodon, the President of the Republic of Moldova.

14 Apr 2017 The Presidents of the EAEU countries appointed a new Minister in charge of Economics and Financial Policy of the EEC Timur Zhaksylykov was appointed the new Member of the EEC Board - Minister of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) from the Republic of Kazakhstan, who will be in charge of issues of economy and financial policy. The decision on his appointment was adopted by the heads of the EAEU on April 14 at the session of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council in Bishkek.

14 Apr 2017 New Minister in charge of Competition and Antitrust Regulation appointed in the EEC The new Member of the EEC Board - Minister in charge of Competition and Antitrust Regulation from the Republic of Kazakhstan is Marat Kussainov. A decision on his appointment was adopted by the presidents of the EAEU Countries on April 14 at the session of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council in Bishkek.

14 Apr 2017 Heads of the EAEU countries expanded powers of the EEC in sphere of Customs Regulation Changes to the Procedure of the standing body of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) - the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) - were approved on April 14 at the session of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council by heads of the EAEU states. The EEC Council, composed of first Deputies of Prime Ministers of the Union countries, has received a number of new powers in the sphere of customs regulation. Moreover, the presidents have extended the list of issues that the EEC Board shall be eligible to accept by consensus.
