30 Jun 2017 The EEC will develop common concept of taxation in e-trade of the EAEU countries The Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) plans to begin development of an agreed tax policy in e-trade of the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU). A common concept of taxation is expected to be prepared. This was announced by the Member of the Board - Minister in charge of Economy and Financial Policy of the EEC, Timur Zhaksylykov, at the 13th Eurasian Tax Forum in Paris. The event organized by the International Tax and Investment Center (ITIC) focused on changes in the EAEU tax legislation.

This opinion was expressed by the Member of the Board - Minister in charge of Economy and Financial Policy of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC), Timur Zhaksylykov, speaking at the high-level special session of "Improving the investment climate in Kazakhstan and increasing international competitiveness of Central Asia" within Astana Economic Forum.

16 Jun 2017 The EEC eliminates exemptions and restrictions The Consultative Committee for Technical Regulation of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) approved the lists of standards to technical regulations of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) "On safety of fish and fish products" and "On restrictions of the use of hazardous substances in electrical and radio electronic products. These solutions will enable entrepreneurs to meet the requirements to safety and quality of goods sold. The lists of "fish" regulations, for example, include technical specifications for cold and hot smoked fish, dried, frozen, chilled, canned fish, caviar, etc., consistent with international (ISO) and European (EN) regulations.

This was stated by the Head of the Division of law enforcement and preparation of materials for examination of cases of violations of competition rules the Antitrust Regulation Department of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC), Elena Kuznetsova, during the discussion at the Conference "Common Eurasian Markets: Practical Impact on Business", organized by RBC.

16 Jun 2017 The EEC invited China to jointly develop production of electric vehicles Measures to stimulate production and consumption of electric vehicles in the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) developed by the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) will intensify the interaction between industrialists of the Union countries and China. This was stated by the Director of the EEC Industrial Policy Department, Nikolay Kushnarev, at the 4th Russian-Chinese Forum EXPO in Harbin (China). In particular, he noted that production of domestic systems, units and assemblies for electric transport, thermal control and microclimate systems, traction batteries for electric vehicles has been already begun. Chinese partners have got new opportunities for production and innovation collaboration with machine building companies of the Union countries in the field of green transport.
