16 Dec 2020 EEC jointly with business creates favorable environment for increasing competitiveness of industrial companies The Heads of the EAEU Chambers of Commerce and Industry under the auspices of the Industrial Unit of the Eurasian Economic Commission have discussed implementing the most popular mechanisms for supporting industry, such as compensation for part of the interest rate on export loans, co-financing expenses on participating in exhibitions of joint products in third countries as well as concessional financing of investment projects involving the Eurasian Economic Union enterprises in the territory of third countries.

The videoconference was attended by representatives of the Trade Policy Department, Technical Regulation and Accreditation Department, Industrial Policy Department and Agricultural Policy Department of the EEC. 14 Dec 2020 EEC: prospects for work under Union's Free Trade Agreements depend on their expectation effects Sergey Chernyshev, Assistant Member of the Board – Minister in charge of Trade of the Eurasian Economic Commission, has attended the discussion "EAEU: What Next?" organized by the Valdai International Club following the meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council. The meeting has discussed relevant matters of the Eurasian integration. The discussion attendees have delved into, in particular, the work on removing obstacles in mutual trade, possibilities of expanding the EEC’s competence as well as the challenges associated with discrepancies in the volume and structure of economies of the Union participating countries. As it was noted, the Strategy for Developing the Eurasian Economic Integration until 2025 adopted by the Heads of the EAEU States on December 11 will enable solving a number of problems.
