Republic of Belarus Presented Pilot Project on Development of National Single Window Mechanism in EEC

The Eurasian Economic Commission, the National Center for Marketing and Price Study, and the State Customs Committee of the Republic of Belarus held a presentation of pilot projects for the development of the national single window mechanism in the Republic of Belarus.

The event was attended by representatives of the EEC, customs services, public authorities and businesses of the EAEU countries involved in implementing the project for developing the national single window mechanisms.

The event participants were introduced to the organizational and legal aspects of the project on establishing the electronic platform "Single Window for Foreign Economic Activity" in the Republic of Belarus, functional possibilities of the portal E-Pasluga and administered customs business processes.

"The single window mechanism is a promising project in the EAEU, aimed at enabling the FEA development. It integrates the global practices for creating modern models of the single window mechanism using progressive organizational, legal, technical and technological solutions," said Ruslan Davydov, EEC Minister in charge of Customs Cooperation.


It was noted that the project implemented in the Member States meets the requirements of the EAEU digital agenda, and in terms of the implementation of regulatory functions is associated with the development of the smart customs institute.

By its Disposition No.4 dated April 5, 2021, the EEC Council issued the Action Plan to Implement Strategic Directions for Developing the Eurasian Economic Integration until 2025, where it defined measures, mechanisms and activities for the implementation of Strategy 2025. These include activities related to presenting pilot projects on the implementation of national single window mechanisms to ensure their compatibility and data exchange in the future.
