The work of the EEC in these spheres in 2016 was summarized.

13 Dec 2016 Mukai Kadyrkulov: “We are ready to discuss pairing of transit systems under the condition of equality and mutual benefit with the European Union and China” The countries of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) are ready to discuss pairing of transit systems and the mutual recognition of authorized economic operators with their trade partners. This was stated by the EEC Member of the Board - Minister in charge of Customs Cooperation Mukai Kadyrkulov at the 76th session of the Political Commission of the World Customs Organization.

13 Dec 2016 The EEC gave recommendations to Kazakhstan on measures to reduce inflation The EEC Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission adopted the Recommendation “On proposals of the Eurasian Economic Commission for measures aimed at reducing the level of inflation (consumer price index) in the Republic of Kazakhstan”.

12 Dec 2016 At the round table, participants of the Eurasian agricultural technology platform discussed cooperation of the AIC in science, technology and innovation spheres. Participants of the Eurasian agricultural technological platform started to prepare a list of joint projects and plans for their implementation. The projects will relate to innovative products, agricultural technologies and promising solutions in the agroindustrial complex of the EAEU States.
