EEC considered relevant matters of industrial cooperation within EAEU framework

The issues of implementing the mechanism of financial support to industrial cooperation, improving the functioning of Eurasian technology platforms and interstate programs, monitoring of obligations in respect of sensitive goods in the implementation of industrial policy measures, as well as joint exports of non-primary, high-tech products were discussed at the meeting of the Advisory Committee on Industry.

The members of the Advisory Committee approved the draft recommendation of the Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission on the development of cooperation in the production of oil and gas equipment, the results of analyzing promising markets and industries for joint exports of non-primary, high-tech products, and the creation of the Robotics Eurasian technological platform.

The meeting participants approved approaches to further improve the existing provisions of the Regulation on selecting cooperation projects in industry.

"Active participation of business circles of the Member States will ensure capacity development of Eurasian technology platforms and interstate programs," stressed Goar Barseghyan, EEC Minister in charge of Industry and Agriculture.
