Centralised trade in electric power in the EAEU will be organized using the existing trade platforms of the Union
The project for establishing a common electric power market (CEPM) of the Eurasian Economic Union will be implemented using existing trading platforms of the Integration Association countries. It was agreed by the participants in the 13th session of the special-purpose Subcommittee of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) under the chairmanship of the Director of the EEC Energy Department, Leonid Shenets.

The EEC is seeking an observer status in WP. 29
The Eurasian Economic Commission (EC) will focus on application of UN rules and requirements to vehicles (the Agreement, 1958, the Global Agreement, 1998 and the Agreement on Periodical Technical Inspections, 1997) in development and improvement of technical regulations, rules and standards for the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU). This was stated by the Director of the Technical Regulation Department of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC), Arman Shakkaliev, following the session of the UNECE World Forum for Harmonization of Vehicle Regulations (WP.29).

Tatyana Valovaya: “The EEC and the Government of the Republic of Peru have common look into the future”
Issues of cooperation of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) and the Government of the Republic of Peru were discussed by the Member of the Board - Minister in charge of Integration and of the EEC, Tatyana Valovaya, and the Vice Minister of Foreign Trade and Tourism of the Republic of Peru, Edgar Vasquez. The meeting was held in Lima (Peru).

The EEC and the Andean Community General Secretariat signed a Memorandum of Understanding
The Memorandum of Understanding between the Eurasian Economic Commission and the Andean Community General Secretariat was signed by the Member of the Board - Minister in charge of Integration and Macroeconomics of the EEC, Tatyana Valovaya, and the Secretary-General of the Andean Community, Walker San Miguel Rodriguez, on March 23, 2017.

From 1 April, airlines will be required to submit information on goods prior to their importation into the territory of the EAEU
Decision of the Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission No. 158 dated December 1, 2015 on introduction of compulsory preliminary information on goods imported into the customs territory of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) by air shall enter into force from April 1, 2017.

Agreement on the exchange of customs information between the EAEU and China to be developed before the end of the year
The customs services of the countries of the Eurasian Economic union (EAEU) and the General Customs Authority of the People’s Republic of China (PRC) have agreed to complete the draft Agreement on Exchange of Customs Information before the end of the year. This information was provided by the Director of the Customs Infrastructure Department of the Eurasian Economic Commission Baktybek Baiserkeev during the next meeting of the Advisory Committee for Customs Regulation on 27 March.
