The Lists of Standards to the EAEU Technical Regulations on Oil and Fat Products have been amended
At its meeting on June 18, the Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission, in order to implement the adopted Amendments No. 2 to the Technical Regulations on Oil and Fat Products (TR CU 024/2011) (Amendments No. 2 adopted by the Council Decision dated December 12, 2023 No. 149) made changes to the Lists of Standards to this Technical Regulations.
These amendments concern two positions. Firstly, the national standard of the Russian Federation - GOST R 70954-2023 "Non-temperature mixed cocoa butter substitutes. Specifications" was included in the List of Voluntary Application Standards. This is due to the fact that Amendments No. 2 to TR CU 024/2011 introduced new items of technical regulation - "non-tempered mixed type cocoa butter substitutes", which are used in the production of various types of food products and glazes for them.
Secondly, four interstate standards and one research (testing) methodology of the Russian Federation, containing alternative methods of research (testing) and measurements for the newly introduced safety indicator "glycidyl esters of fatty acids in recalculation to glycidol" in vegetable oils and fats were included in the List of Method Standards.
The amendments will come into effect on December 22 this year. This date is interlinked with the date of entry into force of Amendments No. 2 to TR CU 024/2011 (after one year from the date of its official publication - December 22, 2023).
