The volume of mutual trade was at the high during the Eurasian Economic Union’s functioning and amounted to 72.6 bln US dollars in 2021. This is 31.9% more than in 2020 and 17.8% higher than in 2019.
The growth of exports in mutual trade was recorded in all Union States. The largest growth was observed in Kyrgyzstan (by 44.9%) and Kazakhstan (by 34.9%).
The volume of foreign trade amounted to 844.2 bln US dollars, which is 35.1% more than in 2020. The level of pre-COVID 2019 was exceeded by 14.7%. Exports of goods to countries outside the EAEU increased by 44.1% in 2021 and imports increased by 22.6%. The largest contribution to exports to countries outside the Union was made by Belarus (an increase of 47.8%) and Russia (an increase of 47%).
