Issues related to architecture of EAEU goods traceability system, labeling of fur products and establishment of Eurasian technology transfer network were discussed at the EEC Council
On March 30, Members of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) Council discussed the architecture of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) goods traceability system, reviewed the report on implementation of pilot project for using control (identification) marks to label fur coats and fur products, adopted a decision for the establishment of Eurasian technology transfer network. Amendments were introduced into the Single phytosanitary requirements and into the Single list of quarantineable items of the EAEU.

EEC has defined peculiarities of customs control of goods imported into EAEU
Members of the Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) made decisions in the areas of customs administration and industrial policy of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) at the meeting held on March 27. The EEC Board has determined some special aspects of customs control of the declared value of goods imported into the EAEU.

Russia has expanded list of checkpoints through which goods may pass under TIR Carnets
Since April 14, goods can be imported into Russia with the use of international road transport (TIR) Carnets through three additional multilateral checkpoints: Brusnichnoe, Nehoteevka, and Troebortnoe. Therelevant order was adopted by the Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation. Thus, Russia is now the first to implement the “road map” to eliminate the hindrances on the internal market of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) for 2018-2019.
