23 Aug 2017 Outcomes of the Issyk-Kul 2017 Forum: the EAEU countries are stronger together – in economic, material, intellectual terms The Chairman of the Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC), Tigran Sargsyan, speaking at the Issyk-Kul 2017 Economic Forum (the Kyrgyz Republic), placed emphasis on six key areas of activities that contribute to the development and deepening of the Eurasian integration. They include the convergence of economic development levels of the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU); development of really common markets and the fight with obstacles and restrictions; digitalisation of the Union economic space; creation of transport corridors and logistic infrastructure; foreign economic cooperation; “social integration”, or providing the citizens of the EAEU countries with the opportunities to realise their intellectual potential and professional skills, as well as social guarantees and rights.

23 Aug 2017 The agreed policy in various areas of Eurasian integration was discussed at the EEC Council in Kyrgyzstan The members of the EEC Council discussed 20 issues at the session held on August 22 in Cholpon-Ata (the Kyrgyz Republic). As noted by the Chairman of the EEC Board, Tigran Sargsyan, "the agenda included many conceptual topics that generated active discussion at the session of the Council.” Tigran Sargsyan highlighted a number of topics related to foreign economic cooperation: "We have discussed with the members of the Council our positions on the outer track. In particular, how the negotiation process on Singapore is going on. We also agreed to continue working with our colleagues from Korea in the format provided for in the Memorandum of Cooperation. Another key vector for us is the conclusion of a Free Trade Area Agreement with Israel. We agreed how to speed up the work in this direction.” The importance of the international vector in the activities of the Commission was also noted by the Chairman of the EEC Council, the Vice Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic, Oleg Pankratov.

27 Jul 2017 The EEC Minister Tatyana Valovaya identified priority areas of cooperation between the EAEU and Chile for the near future Customs cooperation, the digital agenda and prospects for cooperation in the agricultural sector will be the priority areas of collaboration between the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) and Chile for 2018. It was agreed at the meeting held in Moscow on July 26 by the Member of the Board - Minister in charge of Integration and Macroeconomics of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC), Tatyana Valovaya, and the Vice Trade Minister and Foreign Ministry General Director of International Economic Affairs of the Republic of Chile, Paulina Nazal.

24 Jul 2017 The Eurasian Week to discuss development of free trade areas of the EAEU with Vietnam, India, and Iran At the Eurasian Week Forum, the results of the first year of operation of the free trade area (FTA) of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) with Vietnam will be summarized, and possibilities for liberalizing trade with India and Iran will be discussed. The Forum will be held on August 24-26 in Astana (Kazakhstan) and bring together officials of the member states and partner states of the Union, representatives of the international business.

12 Jul 2017 The EEC presented a report on achievement of the Sustainable Development goals in the EAEU region The report on achievement of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) was made by the Chairman of the Council of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC), the Vice Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic, Oleg Pankratov, at the headquarters of the United Nations (UN). The EAEU became the first regional integration association, which prepared a report for public discussion at the high-level Policy Forum on Sustainable Development of the Union Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC), the key event on monitoring the UN agenda for sustainable development up to 2030.
