The EEC can extend the authority for compliance with antitrust legislation in the EAEU countries
The new edition of the treaty on the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) could include new competences extending tools of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) in respect of antitrust regulation. First of all we are talking about the possibility of applying measures of a preventive nature. This was stated by the Head of the Division of law enforcement and preparation of materials for examination of cases of violations of competition rules the Antitrust Regulation Department of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC), Elena Kuznetsova, during the discussion at the Conference "Common Eurasian Markets: Practical Impact on Business", organized by RBC.

The EEC invited China to jointly develop production of electric vehicles
Measures to stimulate production and consumption of electric vehicles in the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) developed by the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) will intensify the interaction between industrialists of the Union countries and China. This was stated by the Director of the EEC Industrial Policy Department, Nikolay Kushnarev, at the 4th Russian-Chinese Forum EXPO in Harbin (China). In particular, he noted that production of domestic systems, units and assemblies for electric transport, thermal control and microclimate systems, traction batteries for electric vehicles has been already begun. Chinese partners have got new opportunities for production and innovation collaboration with machine building companies of the Union countries in the field of green transport.

The delegations of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) and the Islamic Republic of Iran have completed the work on the text of an interim agreement on the establishment of a free trade area. The next round of talks was held on June 13-14 in Tehran (Iran).
