The EAEU starts to apply simplified rules for importing goods for the 2017 FIFA Confederations Cup and the FIFA World Cup 2018
From June 3 in the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) simplified rules for importing goods for organizing the 2017 FIFA Confederations Cup and the FIFA World Cup 2018 start to be applied. Importing sports equipment and technical equipment for the work of football teams, judges, organizers, broadcasters and press under simplified rules will be possible for the period of sports events, after that the goods must be exported from the customs territory of the EAEU.

A Free Trade Area Agreement between the EAEU and India will contribute to the growth of the economies of the Union countries with the rates higher than the average ones
This was stated by the Chairman of the Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC), Tigran Sargsyan, during negotiations with the Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi. Tigran Sargsyan stressed that the Heads of all the five Union Member States had expressed their strong desire to strengthen trade relations with India and develop various forms of economic interaction. The most important step would be signing of a Free Trade Area (FTA) Agreement between the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) and India. The meeting was attended by the Member of the Board — Minister in charge of Trade of the EEC, Veronika Nikishina.

It is necessary to continue the dialogue between the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) and states and integration associations of the Latin American region, think together how to build new partner global economy. GDP growth in the EAEU countries after establishment of the FTA with India could reach up to 2.7 billion US dollars
The total GDP growth of the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) as a result of the conclusion of the free trade area agreement with India could reach 1.4 billion US dollars in the short term, and 2.7 billion US dollars in the long-term. The EEC will introduce a system of interstate electronic document workflow
The Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) set tax duty rates for some products, amended the veterinary requirements for reproductive materials, approved the draft Programme of cooperation between the EEC and the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (UNESCAP), adopted the model of information security threats to create a certification center of the Commission and to begin the implementation of the system of interstate electronic document workflow with the mutual recognition of electronic signature.

By 2020, aquaculture production in the EAEU countries will grow to 350 thousand tons
In recent years, in the countries of the Eurasian Economic Unit (EAEU) there has been a steady increase in the production of fish in fish farms. In general, in 2016, the EAEU countries produced more than 200 ths. tons, that is almost a fifth part more than it was two years earlier.
