The EEC is ready to contribute to the development of aquaculture in the EAEU countries
Implementation of the Aquaculture Development Concept in the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) and the national plans for development of this area in case of using the capacities of inter-state interaction will double aquaculture products manufacture in 2020 – up to 350 thousand tonnes. This assessment was given in the course of consideration of the draft Aquaculture Development Concept in the EAEU countries at the 14th session of the Advisory Committee for Agroindustrial Complex (AIC). The event was held on May 18 under the chairmanship of the Member of the Board - Minister in charge of Industry and Agroindustrial Complex of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC), Sergey Sidorskiy.

The Customs authorities of the EAEU Member States should accept the documents on conformity assessment to the requirements of technical regulations issued in any country of the Union
On May 17, at the session of the Council of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC), it was decided that the customs bodies of the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) should ensure adoption of common documents on conformity assessment issued in any Member States of the EAEU, and release into circulation on the territory of the Union of goods from third countries with such documents.

Customs cooperation of the EAEU with China takes new shape
Key issues of interaction of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) with the People’s Republic of China (PRC) in customs administration and the prospects for further cooperation were discussed by the Member of the Board - Minister in charge of Customs Cooperation of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC), Mukai Kadyrkulov, and the Head of the General Administration of Customs of the PRC, Yu Guangzhou. The meeting took place in Beijing as part of the International Forum “One Belt, One Road”.

The Eurasian Machine Tool Engineering Center will be created at the site of MSTU STANKIN in Moscow

The EAEU countries pool their resources in space
The countries of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) will receive modern satellite constellation, which will conduct survey with multispectral coverage with a resolution of less than a meter. This will be the result of the implementation of the project "Establishment of an integrated system of the Eurasian Economic Union to provide space and geoinformation services on the basis of the pool resources of the Earth remote sensing (ERS).” This was stated by the Member of the Board - Minister in charge of Industry and Agroindustrial Complex of the EEC, Sergey Sidorskiy, at the thirteenth session of the Advisory Committee for Industry of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC), which took place on May 16.

The EEC Council adopted the EAEU technical regulations that establish safety requirements for equipment of children’s playgrounds
The Council of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) adopted the technical regulations of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) “On safety of equipment for children’s playgrounds”. It establishes requirements for safety of equipment and coverings for children’s playgrounds and associated processes of design, manufacture, installation, operation, storage, transportation and disposal. In particular, equipment construction should ensure its durability and stability, be protected against corrosion and ageing, taking into account the application severity level. The child’s body or garments must not get stuck in the equipment, it must not have any sharp ends or edges.
