From 1 April, airlines will be required to submit information on goods prior to their importation into the territory of the EAEU
Decision of the Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission No. 158 dated December 1, 2015 on introduction of compulsory preliminary information on goods imported into the customs territory of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) by air shall enter into force from April 1, 2017.

Agreement on the exchange of customs information between the EAEU and China to be developed before the end of the year
The customs services of the countries of the Eurasian Economic union (EAEU) and the General Customs Authority of the People’s Republic of China (PRC) have agreed to complete the draft Agreement on Exchange of Customs Information before the end of the year. This information was provided by the Director of the Customs Infrastructure Department of the Eurasian Economic Commission Baktybek Baiserkeev during the next meeting of the Advisory Committee for Customs Regulation on 27 March.

Tatyana Valovaya: “The EAEU and Morocco are interested in developing trade and economic relations”
The Member of the Board - Minister in charge of Integration and Macroeconomics of the EEC, Tatyana Valovaya, and the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Morocco to the Russian Federation, Abdelkader Lecheheb, discussed the prospects for development of trade and economic cooperation of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) and Morocco. The meeting took place in Moscow in the EEC headquarters on March 28, 2017.

Eurasian digital Ministers held the first meeting in Yerevan
The Eurasian Economic Commission hosted the first meeting of the Heads of ministries and agencies in the field of telecom and communications of the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU). At the event which took place in Yerevan the participants discussed topical issues in the field of information and communication technologies (ICT), development of integrated information system of the EAEU, digital agenda of the Union, creation of the digital platforms for provision of interstate e-services and the prospect of creating a register that is common to all the Member States for software registration.

The EAEU countries are working to coordinate and harmonise regulations of the taxation of e-commerce within the BEPS Plan
The countries of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) are working to coordinate and harmonise regulations of the taxation of e-commerce within the BEPS (Base Erosion and Profit Shifting) Plan, a strategy of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development to counter base erosion and profit shifting. This information was provided by the Executive Secretary of the Advisory Committee for Tax Policy and Administration at the Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC), Nurmatbek Mambetaliev, at the 6th International Scientific Conference “International Taxation: current issues of theory and practice”.

Issues of cooperation of tax authorities of the Member States of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) and interaction of the Federal Tax Service (FTS) of Russia with the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) were discussed on March 23, at the meeting of the Director of the Financial Policy Department of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC), Tigran Davtyan, and the Deputy Head of the Federal Tax Service (FTS) of Russia, Alexey Overchuk.
