Alexander Basalyga appointed Deputy Director of EEC Legal Department

Alexander Basalyga was born in 1986 in Soligorsk, Minsk region, Republic of Belarus.

He graduated from the Belarusian State University (with a degree in International Law) and the Academy of Management under the President of the Republic of Belarus (Public Administration of the National Economy).

His career from 2010 to 2024 was connected with the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Belarus, where Alexander Basalyga rose through the ranks from a first category specialist to the Head of the International Cooperation Department.

In 2012–2014, he ensured expert coordination across state administration bodies on preparing the functional part of the Treaty on the EAEU.

His high performance has been repeatedly recognized by the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Belarus, as well as other public authorities and organizations.

On July 22, 2024, Alexander Basalyga was appointed Deputy Director of the Eurasian Economic Commission's Legal Department.
