Rakhatbek Mamaev appointed Deputy Director of EEC Legal Department

Rakhatbek Mamaev was born in 1977 in Naryn (Kyrgyz Republic). In 1999, he graduated from the Kyrgyz National University named after Jusup Balasagyn, specializing in Jurisprudence.

He held various positions in state administration bodies of the Kyrgyz Republic.

From 1999 to 2001, he served in the Constitutional Court of the Kyrgyz Republic.

From 2001 to 2002, he worked in the "Ak-Tilek" Water Users Association.

From 2002 to 2004, he served in the State Economic Development Fund under the Ministry of Finance of the Kyrgyz Republic.

From 2004 to 2010, he was Secretary-General of the Citizenship Commission under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic at the Executive Office of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic.

From 2010 to 2012, he was Secretary-General for Citizenship Issues at the Presidential Administration of the Kyrgyz Republic.

From 2013 to 2014, he was Deputy Director of the specialized center “Infocom" State Enterprise under the State Registration Service under the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic.

From 2015 to 2017, he was Adviser to a Deputy of the Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic.

From 2017 to 2021, he was Expert of anti-corruption policy sector of the Department of Defense, Law Enforcement and Emergency Situations, Head of the Personnel Management and Public Service Sector, Head of the Department of Human Resource Management at the Central Office of the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic.

He is Distinguished Functionary of State Service of the Kyrgyz Republic and State Councilor of State Civil Service, 3rd class. He was awarded the Certificate of Honor of the Central Office of the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic as well as departmental awards of the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic.

In April 2021, he was appointed Deputy Director of the Eurasian Economic Commission’s Legal Department.
