a.m. under the chairmanship of the Member of the Board - Minister in charge of
Competition and Antitrust Regulation Nurlan Aldabergenov an International
Conference on "Antitrust Regulation in the Eurasian Economic Union"
will be held.
It is planned to
discuss a number of topical issues of ensuring equal conditions of competition
for EAEU cross-border trade markets, including protection against unfair
competition, anticompetitive agreements (cartels), abuse of the dominant
position in the field of mining, as well as cross-border transport and
communications markets.
Moreover, issues of
harmonization of legislation and elimination of barriers in the field of
cellular communication in the Union States, anti-competitive practices when
signing distributor and dealer agreements will be addressed.
Developments and implementation
of Codes of fair trade practices in the automotive markets (sale and
after-sale), pharmaceutical market, the Code of fair practices of relationships
between retailers and suppliers and others will also be presented at the
conference.
Among the invitees are
heads of state bodies and antitrust agencies, members of Parliaments, judges of
the Eurasian Economic Union, representatives of diplomatic missions, academic
circles, business community, EAEU media.
