This was announced by Maxim Ermolovich, Minister in charge of Competition and Antitrust Regulation of the Eurasian Economic Commission, at the annual international forum Exchange Commodity Market 2024 in Moscow on March 28.
As the EEC Minister emphasized, the development of exchange trade was a systemic measure that would promote competition by ensuring transparency of pricing in the commodity market and mutual access of market participants to bidding.
He added that the EEC was currently working on the Concept for establishing a common exchange market for the Union's goods, which will significantly contribute to ensuring transparency of pricing based on fair competition, and, as a consequence, improve the financial performance of economic sectors.
