At the end of 2023, the republican budget expenditures of the Member States of the Eurasian Economic Union exceeded income. The budget was executed with a surplus only in Kyrgyzstan.
The bulk of the budget deficit in Kazakhstan and Russia was covered by national (reserve) funds.
The highest growth rates of budget income and expenditures were observed in Kyrgyzstan (132% and 121%, respectively) and Kazakhstan (120% and 121%, respectively).
