The list of industrial goods for state procurement in the EAEU has been supplemented by 52 groups

On March 17, the EEC Council has supplemented Annex 1 to the Rules for Determining the Country of Origin for Certain Types of Goods for State Procurement Purposes by another 52 commodity items.

The EEC, jointly with the EAEU States’ authorized authorities and businesses, have agreed on the conditions and manufacturing operations subject to which a number of commodity items will be considered as goods produced on the EAEU countries' territories. This refers to such goods as elevators, cable products, computerized tomography scanners, pumps, stop valves, bearings.

According to Arman Shakkaliev, EEC Minister in charge of Competition and Antitrust Regulation, the decision adopted by the EEC Council expands possibilities for the Union countries' manufacturers to participate in the state procurement of the EAEU States.

"The amendments made provide suppliers of industrial goods with direct and equal access to participation in the state procurement of the EAEU countries," the Minister noted.
