More than 2,700 representatives of public authorities, the business community, international organizations, and the media will take part in the business program of the 2nd Eurasian Economic Forum (EEF) on May 24-25 in Moscow. The Forum will be held under the motto "Eurasian Integration in a Multipolar World". Approximately 35 business sessions will be held as part of EEF-2023. The plenary session will be the Forum's key event.
“Of more than 2,700 guests of the Forum who confirmed their participation, over 500 are foreign representatives from 54 states. Discussions at the Forum's venues are aimed at developing specific practical solutions focused on comprehensive economic development in the Member States of the Eurasian Economic Union and the countries of the Eurasian region. At the same time, the Forum will become a platform for a business dialogue – we expect the participation of over 650 business representatives from more than 450 companies,” Alexey Overchuk, Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, emphasized.
Representatives of the United Nations, the World Health Organization and the International Organization for Migration are also expected to take part in the events of the Forum.
One of the key discussions will take place during the session of the strategic section “Priorities for EAEU 2030+”. The session is expected to be attended by Mher Grigoryan, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia, Igor Petrishenko, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Belarus, Serik Zhumangarin, Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Trade and Integration of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Adylbek Kasymaliev, First Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic, Alexey Overchuk, Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, Mikhail Myasnikovich, Chairman of the EEC Board, and Sergei Glazyev, Member of the Board – Minister in charge of Integration and Macroeconomics of the Eurasian Economic Commission.
The key topic of the session is the discussion of the main pathways of integrative cooperation, both to 2030 and to 2045.
The 2nd Eurasian Economic Forum is held within the framework of the Russian Federation's chairmanship in the EAEU bodies in 2023, and its aim is to improve cooperative ties in the Eurasian space.
