The Eurasian Economic Union’s agricultural output in all farm categories decreased by 0.3% in January-September 2023 compared to the same period last year. The growth was observed in Armenia, Russia and Kyrgyzstan; and the decrease — in Kazakhstan and Belarus.
The EAEU States to complete harvesting cereals and pulse crops (without corn). As of October 1, grain harvest increased only in Armenia (by 21%), whereas Belarus harvested 16.6% less grain, Kyrgyzstan — 18.2%, and Russia — 10%.
At the same time, the output of main types of livestock products has increased: livestock and poultry for slaughter (live weight) – by 2.3%, milk – by 2.9%, and eggs – by 1.2%.
