EAEU agricultural production grew by 0.5% in January 2024

The Eurasian Economic Union’s agricultural output in all farm categories increased by 0.5% in January 2024 compared to January 2023. An increase was observed in Belarus, Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan, a decrease – in Russia.

The production of livestock and poultry for slaughter (in live weight) increased by 1% compared to January 2023, milk – by 3.2%, while egg production decreased by 0.9%. An increase in the production of livestock and poultry for slaughter (in live weight) was observed in Belarus, Russia and Kyrgyzstan, a decrease – in Kazakhstan. Milk production increased in all EAEU States (excluding data for Armenia). An increase in egg production was observed in Kyrgyzstan, Belarus and Kazakhstan, a decrease – in Russia.
