Russia, together with the other countries of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU), suggested more than 40 collaborative projects in the area of transport, claiming the co-financing of China. They should establish end-to-end logistics among China, the EU and the Eurasian Union and along related routes supplementing the main transport corridors of Eurasia (Western Europe - Western China, North - South, East - West, and the Northern sea route).

The Eurasian Economic Union became operational in 2015 and now comprises five countries: Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Russia. While Eurasian integration primarily focused on trade cooperation at its inception 20 years ago, since then the agenda has gradually expanded. Rapid information technology development provided the Union with new challenges. It soon became clear there was a need to regulate online trade, collaborate on legislation in the field of the Internet of Things, develop e-government communication systems, and create a venture funding market and jointly develop innovations in general. Therefore, this year a new area of activity was established in the Eurasian Economic Commission, the regulatory body of the EAEU. One of its main objectives is to build a common digital space and develop digital technologies. Karine Minasyan, Member of the Board - Minister in charge of Internal Markets, Information Support, Information and Communication Technologies of the EEC gave an interview to TASS New Agency on what is being done in this area at the Eurasian Week Forum and Expo in the run-up to the first anniversary of the establishment of the new direction of integration cooperation.

Interview with acting Director of the Labour Migration Department of the EEC, Samat Aliyev, to "Business Eurasia”: “The EAEU is toughening measures to combat counterfeiting and fakes”
Law enforcement agencies will protect intellectual property "Business Eurasia” reported that the Eurasian Economic Commission has adopted regulations concerning information exchange between the authorised authorities of the EAEU and the EEC in the field of intellectual property rights protection. The document was developed pursuant to the Agreement on coordination of activities on protection of intellectual property rights dated September 8, 2015. The regulation establishes the procedure for information exchange between the Commission and the authorised authorities of the Member States and operational measures regarding compliance with intellectual property rights in the Member States. "Business Eurasia” contacted Acting Director of the Labour Migration Department Samat Aliyev for explanations about the mechanism of interaction between the Member States of the EAEU and their prompt response. He stated that the functions of EEC include, inter alia, the creation of conditions for the protection of intellectual property rights in the Eurasian Economic Union. As it turned out, the process differs little from the process that already exists in a given State.
