Program for developing interstate standards to EAEU technical regulation for underground rolling stock has been approved
On November 21, the Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission approved the Program for Developing Interstate Standards to the Technical Regulation of the Eurasian Economic Union On Safety of Underground Rolling Stock.
The program ensures the development of interstate standards that establish requirements and control methods for two groups of products covered by the specified technical regulations, namely underground rolling stock and its components, and provides for the development of 39 interstate standards.
The Russian Federation has been appointed responsible for elaborating the standards.
The Decision shall come into effect after 30 calendar days have elapsed from the date of its official publication.

The technical regulation of the Eurasian Economic Union On Safety of Underground Rolling Stock (EAEU TR 052/2021) was approved by Decision No. 137 of the EEC Council dated December 2, 2021 and will come into force on January 2, 2025.
